What is Internet?

Internet is a computer network. It is made up of thousands of networks worldwide. There are millions of computers have connected to the Internet. Number of computers connected to Internet is growing very rapidly. No one owns the Internet. There are Private, Governmental and Non Profit organizations which controls the Physical and Logical Functioning of Internet. Those oganizations develop technical rules of this network and set standards for creating applications on The Internet. But no governing body is in full control. Earlier most companies were US based companies. But US government is not in charge of The Internet. All computers on the Internet communicate with one another using certain set of rules. Those rules are called as Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol suite. Computers on the Internet use a client-server architecture. Internet traffic flows, is owned by
